"Just dropping you a line to let you know how the software and your coaching has changed our approach to how we spend our money. I have a bit of a financial background in that I have prepared taxes for years and also was licensed with the SEC (series 6 and 63 license to sell mutual funds). Since purchasing this program, it has completely changed how and when we spend money. I have tried five different ways and countless hours trying to prove this system doesn't work and cannot. I had a conversation with you earlier and you suggested that we put in expenses for birthdays and Christmas. I told you it was not necessary to put in for birthdays as we use our credit card as our consolidation account and accrue a substantial amount of "points" each month. In our case, our credit card pays double points for each dollar spent. (Yes, there are cards out there that pay double points.) In any event, my daughter asked for a Wii for her upcoming birthday. The console costs $250. I simply went to my rewards web site on my credit card and cashed in 15,000 points and three days later received in the mail a $250 gift card to Best Buy. As I walked out of Best Buy, with my Wii in hand, I could not believe I did not lay out any money for this console. Again, this is what we use for our consolidation account. We pay for everything and anything with this credit card each month so we rack up points very quickly. All of this, and that credit card gets paid off every month thanks to the software! To anyone out there who says they can't be bothered with the reward points, I implore you to give it a try and you will be surprised how quickly these points add up. I should also mention to you that we hardly ever pay for dinner when we go out. Each month I cash in points to various restaurants. This enables us to push more money through the software and increase our discretionary income. Shane and the software has worked very well for us and we are always looking for ways to increase our discretionary income. It actually is fun.
